Oh look a HanaKimi fan. That's pretty obvious from the images, ne? *drools on Minami* And she has Lagoon Engine translation too *boinks happily* *adds log to list* I need to add several other interesting logs as well... as soon as I can find them again LOL.
Wow.. this log has a very nice bustling busy Tokyo pic! Hehehe... I can't wait to go there *counts the day till departure* That is, if the stupid tour will confirmed everything soon >.< I can't go to the embassy to apply for my visa if they haven't confirmed anything yet. Stupid tour. And their service is damn lousy. I can do a case study on them next time.
selene still putting off studying on Thursday, April 19, 2001, 02:38 p.m.
Those who missed my singing file, well, that's just too bad. BWAHAHAHAHA...!
I found another site about Japanese funny funny things =D here it is. The 10 year time capsule Cup Noodle looks cool, though =D
selene tried to study but, as you can see, she has failed on Thu, 19/04/2001, 02:23 p.m.
[[ clt : Weiss Kreuz' Aya's Theme =) ]]
I owe a lot of people e-mails. I'm SOOOOOO sorry. I haven't been in the mood of writing e-mails *guilty look* So, err... hang on for a few more days, ne?
The new layout for this page is halfway done..... And it's blue. Ack. Blue's one of my favourite colour but I think it's way overused ..... maaikka....
I can't believe my download is going at the rate of a measly 3.80 Kb/sec. This is not Indonesia!
I've been reading this book about Bach's Passions. And urm... I'm a music-illiterate >.< I have no idea what the book is talking about.
Anne, there's another HanaKimi CD that's sold publicly! And the seiyuus are the same. Check it out at Hisaya Nakajo's site
One more thing. University's network is being fussy lately and it disrupts the chat programs like my ICQ and MSN. A rumour even broke out that the uni is planning to ban chat programs (it already banned Napster since half a year ago) and caused an uproar among the hall residents. Since hall residents rely mainly on ICQ to pass messages, announcements, meeting schedules, tutorial answers, and just about everything; we're quite dependent on them ^_^ Anyway, turned out the rumour isn't true, it's just the network problem and it's still not fixed yet, so my ICQ is always down, although there are some of you I want to talk to =( Farmies, I miss our past-midnight chats, but the good thing is, I can sleep early now MUAHAHAHA...!
I'm SO not in the mood for anything!! So I babbled. Bleh.
selene is feeling ......... on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, 10:08 p.m.
What a boring day. I didn't feel like studying and I had no idea what to do so I ended up going out alone to watch Billy Elliot. Which was great, BTW ^_^ I'm so bored I'm going to bed after this >.< Finally, I'm going to live like "normal people" (so my friends insisted). Now, if I can only do something with my eating habit.... Anne-nee-chan probably doesn't want to know what I had for dinner... *innocent hum* I was going to make a layout today but then my computer is on and my scanner is not connected to it and I'm too lazy to shut the puter down just so I can reconnect the line :P Yes, I'm that lazy.
Divine the Komagata Shrine has moved to a new location and is opened! J has been working hard with so many sites up in the space of a few days *grin* Divine version 6 features Shishio-sama!
I BBS a lot lately >.< Hope nobody minds *sweatdrop* The problem is, I always left out some people I actually have something to say to *frown* Me and my addled mind.
Noelle, I like the new layout =D The scrollbar looks neat against the white background. Why does Tin-sama calls you "Noeru", BTW? Japan-ized? *grin*
Anne, I knew you had to say something to that seiyuu pic ^.~ Actually, Nakajo Hisaya-sensei drew a few pages about the drama CD and her experience visiting the recording sessions. She seemed to be thoroughly impressed with Koyasu and Miki *laugh* Actually there's a lot of very interesting comments here.... Oh and I think the CD is not for sale *noticing the super tiny kanjis for the first time* At least, it's not at the time when volume 8 was published.
Oh there are TWO concerts in Jakarta I want to attend but can't because well, I'm still here, in my final exam weeks >.< The first one is the Sound of Music concert featuring Sherina, Avip (Elson worships the ground this guy walked upon XD He's a conductor, BTW. And Elson was my choir conductor), Binu, Aning (these last 2 are very famous Sopranos), Ursula-CC choir and PH choir. My high school choir people are having a HARD time believing Ursula-CC and PH joining the concert, since well, they're not THAT good :P Anyway, we're much better because we're doing our own single concert this Jne. Muahahaha... beat THAT! (oohh.. the murky competitive high school choir world hahaha... ) And the second concert is, of course, NERI PER CASO!!!!!!! *crestfallen* Whoever said Singapore has more interesting cultural performances?!
selene is bored on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, 10:32 p.m.
Ever wonder why your keyboard starts with QWERTY and not something else easier to use? There's a theory called the QWERTY theory and in our Econs exam today we were supposed to relate that to Microsoft @.@ I have a headache...... Oh and you know what, "lemons" in US refers to bad quality cars XD
For Yin =D Back row left to right : Koyasu Takehito as Himejima, Ichijou Kazuya as Umeda, Miki Shinichirou as Nanba. Front row left to right : Morikubo Shoutarou as Nakatsu, Kuwashima Houko as Mizuki, Kisaichi Atsushi as Sano. They're the seiyuus for HanaKimi CD Drama, if anyone's wondering, drawn by Nakajo Hisaya-sensei =D
Pei-yi, errmm... okay..... if you say so... *guilty downcast look*
Jessica, XD XD XD I love your new personal site! Go visit it, people! Thanks for the little page about me *touched*
Laura, don't get depressed over dropping stats. It's probably just because your site is down. I know it seems to do that sometimes. And congrats for Platina! I'm a Maaya Sakamoto fan too. And I LOVE your voice ^_^x I think I might be a Laura fan now, ne? I think Yakusoku is a difficult song to tackle and you did a good job on it! Erm.. you make me want to record my voice as well. Your voice reminds me of my friend Valerie, who's in my faculty and is a genius. Is it the Filipino accent, maybe? I haven't heard that many Filipinos so I really don't know whether such a thing exists... Now, since I visited it, where's my cookie? *grin*
Anne-nee-chan, remember this manga called Pansy? I like that! Who's the author, BTW... Then er.. I was a big Nami Akimoto fan, but that was just my mahou shoujo manga phase, I think, circa elementary school / junior high school hehehe... Let's not forget Ryoko Ikeda and her Rose of Versailles! She always writes about tragic figures, though. Like in Jendela Orpheus. I agree about Yuu Asagiri. She writes Min Min as well, right? That one is good also. But her bishounens are even more unproportional than early CLAMP bishies!
selene has a headache on Monday, April 16, 2001, 09:03 p.m.
Noelle, thanks for the vote of confidence! XD
J, *pouts* You're a wretch!!!!!! I want URLs!!!!!!!! *sticks tongue out* Daddy Tosh, I love you but you're a dirty pig. :P And I'm really worried about your state of mind, you know. Are you going senile? But I really like talking to you. I don't get much chance bashing people around ^_^ so I might be giving you a morning call more often now. I can't believe how much I miss high school and our choir =(
Rei-chan, I like the current layout =D
My Easter was wonderfuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllll!! *God* is wonderful (insert silly grin here)
selene is planning to study soon on Sunday, April 15, 2001, 09:11 p.m.

l337 talk? *ROFL* The NUS Anime Club message board were talking about it. They even discussed the origins of it. Ack, Computing people >.< But it's sooooo interesting! Check out some of the links they gave (j00 |/||g|-|+ l|k3 |+) : +|-| |5, and +|-||5 for "All Your Base Are Belong to Us!" origins LOL I'm seeing that phrase everywhere.... -_- And "The quality is suck" BWAHAHAHA!!! *laugh* My upcoming Econs exam is an open book exam and I mentioned once that one of the questions will be about Microsoft vs US, or as it later developed into, Microsoft vs The Rest of the World. While my Econs teachers and classmates have been so adamant in discussions that Microsoft is E-V-I-L in all economics sense, I find myself disagreeing to all that. After all, I'm the one who once said she couldn't live without her IE 5.5 and who formatted her entire computer just because her IE couldn't open pop-up windows (it was entirely my fault for trying to install some outdated application). Anyway, I'm building my case for exam here. All the extra readings I have to read concerning this topic have been telling me that Microsoft is indeed evil and is planning to do more evil deeds in the future and ignore the possibility that Microsoft's products might be as superior as it claims, but I personally don't feel I have been cheated out of my consumer surplus (well, a bit when Windows was bundled with my laptop, but... bundle pricing is very common) or anything else and besides, this is Asia. Piracy rules. Microsoft can be the world's biggest monopolist, but as long as its products are reliable and as long as piracy exists, I don't give a damn. And not until Indonesian government clean their mess (which is, a long way from now, say, a few more decades?), will piracy be eradicated in my beloved home country.
This page tracker says 88% of visitors use IE and 80% use Windows 98. Zero Stance's tracker, which is more unbiased, says 84% use IE and 94% use Windows. I have a case here, yes, do I? ^^ I'm interested to hear what all of you have to say about this, it might provide some additional insight for my exam, onegai? =D Any Netscape supporter here? I used to be one, but well, *grin* I like my IE 5 more that I don't even bother to install it again. I think none of my websites are compatible with Netscape, but with over 80% visitors using IE, I don't think I need to bother much. So, e-mail me or just write what you think in your log XD
Demo, I'll just go back to my additional readings and amuse myself.

[[ clt : Cowboy Bebop's Blue -- it's not blue at all! ]]
Riiiiiiggggghhhhttttt, how was everyone's Good Friday? Hope it was blessed ^_^x I was so tired yesterday, I don't know why, all I did was sing and it was nothing compared to my high school days but for the first time in many months I gave singing my all. And it felt good, oh yeah =D I went to bed early last night and woke up at sunrise this morning. It's a lovely morniiiiiiinnnnggggg. The weather is still cold after yesterday's rain. *stretch* Kimochi ga ii~~~~~~!
One of my favourite IASC members, Angela now has a blog of her own *glomps Angela* Love the layout, as always, dear. And on while we're on the topic of layouts, I've read Susan's entry about it, and I feel like I have to say something. What I think is, a layout can't be said completely 100% original unless if you make everything from scratch, including the graphics. (Even so, with the HTML, it's hard to say it's 100% original). And what Angela is saying is true, even the fonts you're using are not yours, so where can you claim your on originality? I feel that when you're making a layout, you have to add a bit of yourself in it. So when people look at something you made, they know immediately it's yours. Diana of Eternity Network, Val of Sakura no Yume and Alexa of Cherrycoma.net; these are the few people whose styles I can recognized easily. (Although they've been copied lots of times).
I must admit I'm not a good layout artist (I don't even call myself a layout artist or a web designer or whatever!), and I have mentioned to Yin a few days ago that I don't think I have my own characteristic style. I still feel that I need to find it and improve myself. On using anime or manga pics, aren't they the same as any other pics you use? They're IMAGES, what's in them is not important, as long as it's aesthetically pleasing. I use them because I happen to like anime and manga and it gives me a certain kind of satisfaction that people get to know my favourite mangas or animes by just looking at my sites. A certain someone even got hooked on HanaKimi by looking at this Julia layout (you know who you are, darling! I STILL have to send you a scan...) and finding out more about it. I don't limit myself to anime and manga, I've used other images (like in the current version of Peach Tea) as well.
I'll just end my rant on this here and move on to something else ^^ Remember that girl Chy who used an episode synopsis from Zerostance for her own site? I did mentioned that she had lied to me on numerous occasions and now I have PROVE! *triumphantly* (I'm enjoying myself, aren't I? LOL) I recently e-mailed Yukimi of kurisumasu.nu about her site and in the exchange, I asked her whether she's the same Yukimi as Chy (who also used the alias Yukimi once). Well, THIS Yukimi replied that she didn't know her at all but she mentioned Chy did signed her guestbook once. I told her that Chy admitted she was best friends with her and that the two of them shared the same e-mail address sometimes. Was Yukimi incensed about it. But, of course, Yukimi is a very nice sweet girl *laugh*
Enough of this. It's Easter's weekend, so I should behave myself. (OK, OK, I SHOULD behave myself all the time *guilty look*). I'm adding Angela's link------!
Oh, as Tin-sama calls it, BBS ^_^x :
Jessicaaaaaaaaaa, I miss talking to you. E-mail me, pleaseeeee???? I'm glad you like the thing I sent you *wink, wink*
Yin, I think a LOT of frazzled individuals have appeared in your log *laugh* (including me). Where are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu? Out of credit again, huh? Gomen. My fault, huh? *guilty look*
Isabela, you are sooooooooo sweet XD and so is Noelle, yes? ^_^ *glomps both*
Mia, 0.o Looking forward to see the new site.
Anne-nee-chaaaaaann, I can't remember what Miss Modern original Jap title is. I've seen it around but can't remember the title. There's this newer series from Waki Yamato set somewhere back in history.. Heian / Kamakura period, something like that? *frown* Damn, what's the title again... I know the bilingual version's title is Tale of Genji. *frown* Is it her version of the real Tale of Genji, I wonder. Must investigate more next time! ^^ I don't really like Waki Yamato, though. I LOVE Michiyo Akaishi *dreamy sigh* (I should try to get Silent Eyes 1-5!) and Kyoko Hikawa (I saw my church friend brought the Indonesian translated Kanata Kara 10 yesterday!!! I haven't read THATT!!!). Yukari Kawachi is just ok, her heroines tend to be.... sorta weak *laugh* But I must admit she draws real nice clothes ^^
Ah yes, Easter's weekend.... must.... study and... contemplate! LOL. Such a long post >.<
