Hee-hee ^_^ I didn't blog at all yesterday! I have proved that I can not blog at all in one day *niko niko* Anyway, I was actually too engrossed in this Catherine Lim novel I just borrowed from Guek Ching. It was wonderfully written, but somehow after all those anime and manga, I don't really enjoy _realistic_ stories anymore. Plus, it was a tragic story. GC went back home to Johor yesterday and she gave the task of feeding her gerbils everyday to me. Those who don't know what a gerbil is, it's a rodent. It looks like a cross between a hamster and a mouse. GC owns about 7 of them. I really don't like them. They're not cure, they're too active for my liking, they smell (like most rodents), they bite, and they're cannibals. When one dies, the others will eat the carcass until nothing's left. It has happened several times, especially since newborn babies die easily, and GC gets quite upset about it, she's now thinking of giving them away. So anyone wants a gerbil (or more), contact us =D I'm quite sure Tin wouldn't want one *niko*
Yesterday Mui, Minli and I lasted exactly 30 minutes inside Haw Par Villa. It was freaking hot, there's barely shelter, much less air-coned places, and there really was nothing there so we decided to hop on a bus to Suntec Mall and bug our travel agent again. After that we went to the National Library and ended up in Kinokuniya (where else?). We were on the way to Borders, another huge book store, when our travel agent called us so we rushed back to Suntec >.< The three of us are confirmed to extend our stay in Tokyo for a total of 7 days, a change from our previous 4 days. Because if we only extend for 4 days, we'll miss weekend in Shinjuku and we want to see all those cosplayers on the streets ^^; And we're also doing our "Grand CLAMP Historical Sites Tour" (was : "X Scenic Tour") around Tokyo.
(looking at pictures on some brochures)
Me : *points at a picture* Rainbow Bridge!!!!!! Subaru x Seishirou!!!!!
Mui : What's at the Diet Building? *points at a picture*
Me : Oh, it's the Parliament building.
Mui : Is it in X?
Me : Well, Princess Hinoto lives in the basement of the building.
Mui : OK, then we MUST go!
Me : But there's nothing there! It's just a building!
Mui : Never mind, we'll just go there to take a picture beside the sign that says "Diet Building" so we can show it to other people although they won't know what it means
Me : We DEFINITELY have to go to Tokyo Tower. It's a historical site!
Minli : Historical? @.@
Me : you know... CCS, MKR??
Minli : Oh. That.
Anyway, we had fun yesterday ^_^x I'm going over to Minli's place soon to raid her collection of manga/anime/fantasy books *peace sign*
Tin has a new DN Angel layout!!! The layout is rather a different style than your usual, ne, Tin? I also LOVE Hikaru's new layout too! It's blue and it's HanaKimi!
Something from the infamous Haw Par Villa excursion : "misuse of books" is considered a sin in Chinese belief. There are many dioramas inside the big dragon thingy there depicting scenes from Hell, with a sign listing which sins got punished on which level of hell by which king and what punishment the offenders will get. I can't remember what the punishment in Hell is, I think it's to be thrown to a field of protruding swords? Either that, or getting sawed into two. So okay..... how exactly do I misuse my mangas?
selene had dinner at aunt's place and not a single chicken dish in sight! *happy* on Wednesday, May 16, 2001, 08:44 p.m.
